Graduate research assistant Kelly Wagman was awarded a MIT PKG Summer Fellowship

Graduate research assistant Kelly Wagman was awarded a MIT PKG Summer Fellowship to work with Urban Rivers, a startup non-profit, on designing and developing a remote-controlled trash collecting robot. Urban Rivers, based in Chicago, is currently working on rebuilding wildlife along the Chicago riverfront. The trash robot is a way for in-person and remote visitors to engage with the park and clean up the river. Kelly will be assisting with user research, development, and an ethical use guide.
